Our Commitment to Inclusion
At the Bruno Weber Park, we believe that art and nature should be accessible to everyone. That is why we work continuously to make our park as barrier-free as possible and to accommodate individual needs. Visitors with mobility impairments or in wheelchairs are very welcome to visit the park. However, there are a few limitations we would like to point out.
We strongly recommend that visitors with mobility impairments are accompanied by an assistant. Please also consider whether the wheels of your wheelchair are suitable for the terrain of the paths in the Bruno Weber Park.
The paths and open spaces in the Bruno Weber Park are mainly paved with cobblestones and gravel.
- There is a step at the entrance to the dining room (Esssaal). We have a ramp available for wheelchair users. Please contact us prior to your visit if possible, as our ticket counter staff may not always be free to place the ramp during peak visitor times.
- There is a gravel path of about 4m leading to the restroom (featuring the peacock mosaic) for wheelchair users.
- The sculptures in the forest can only be reached from one side (by the Dragon Gate) via a set of stairs (6 steps). To avoid these steps, visitors will need to backtrack along the forest path to the forest entrance.
Note: If you would like to check the local conditions in person before visiting with a person with disabilities, you are welcome to do so. Please email us or contact us beforehand.
Parking for Mobility-Impaired Visitors
Visitors with mobility impairments (and visitors with other corresponding disabilities, such as visual impairments) may drive directly up to the Bruno Weber Park. There are 2 designated parking spaces at the Bird Gate (Vogeltor, the park's entrance gate). We recommend informing us of your needs by email at least two days before your planned visit.
After parking in front of the entrance gate, follow the cobblestone path (Bsetzisteinweg), which is somewhat steep, up to the ticket kiosk (approx. 50 steps).
Wheelchair-Accessible Restrooms
